Week 17 - Final Week - Summary - Susan Sullivan

How has your social media changed over the semester?

We had zero social media before I started this class. Now we have a presence in all social media avenues. Before, we didn't pay for any marketing, now all the marketing budget we have, I requested to be used for boost posts.

Has there been an impact on your business?

Yes, lot more awareness for the brand. By seeing these posts (And I posted on the website of the mall the store currently is at and gave new pictures) we are seeing more people coming into the store and calling to ask about merchandise.

Growth of customers and increased interaction is a key component?

I paid for some boosts so I could study the analytics. I studied Google and Face book and saw how many clicked, directions, checked pictures, when viewed and clicked. This part was very interesting to me and I learned a lot. I also made a group where I sent these posts and I think that is very important not to waste advertising dollars to narrow down the group you are posting.

Has your view point of social media changed?

My view has changed as I was not aware that all businesses need a social media presence. All businesses need a face book page at a bare minimum. I am working on building a website but at least I have now a face book, twitter, Instagram, yelp, google, newsletter, blog for the business. I also updated hour and address and posted pictures and I built how many likes and posts. Great start in social media. Before the class, I didn't think this brick and mortar store needed social media but this class has taught me every business needs social media and to keep informed of media changes in social media.

Do you have a better understanding of how to use and successfully to develop a business?

I learned so much in this class. I had no idea how important or how to use social media posts. I am confident now to post, to schedule, to pay for a boost ad. For businesses to be successful, businesses need to post and boost in some sort of social media networking to get the brand's name out there. I do believe this and I can build a social media strategy around it.

Did you find social media for business services and products that you want to use yourself?

I will be posting on Link in for personal use for my current job. I noticed from a gal who was a brand ambassador and she spoke how she loves her job. I will post a picture and my resume and accomplishments and post what I love to do and what I am looking forward to so I can grow in my current job or get my name out there for possible promotion or a new direction, But that is some social media and networking I need to explore more.

I commented on six posts which I really enjoyed. We have some talented people in this class as I have learned so much. The comments I made were for the following blogs:

Elena Cohen. “Elena Cohen Photography”
David Durham “David’s Backpack Panchos”
Israel Gutierrez”Student Success”
Michelle Jordan “Filly Willy Auto Care”
Tracey Walz “Realize Your Fit”

Week 16 - Part 1 -Create a Schedule on which platforms

I enjoyed creating and posting on facebook and Instagram. I feel these two areas the most effective way to grow our store's audience. I would post once a month any new jackets that we received and build a mailing list. I feel that our audience would be best fit if they saw some of our merchandise if it flashed on Instagram and facebook.

New Arrivals - once a month
When a major sporting event happens such as World Series, Super Bowl -send out a post
When a new Sport Season starts such as when baseball or football starts

I would post on face book and Instagram

I would also write a monthly blog about a subject that is related to a sporting event.

I will grow our eclub so we can send out coupons and offers on birthdays.

I feel that blogging, face book, Instagram and newsletters will work best with our jacket store. We can do $100 a month on social media posts dividing among face book and some google with keywords. We would target a specific audience of those that live within 5 miles of the restaurant and center around sport minded people.

We will budget $100 a month for the rest of the year so we can review the analytics and see if we are hitting the mark in postings.

Month of June Promotion Calendar of Postings:

May 31 - Posting of jackets "Good for any Grad"
May7 -Posting of jackets "Buy for Dad" Father's Day
May 21-Post baseball jackets, summer fun, to wear on summer nights - show windbreaker and lighter jackets
May 28 - Blog about a subject and send via face book
Grow subscribers by having people who walk into the store and win a Colorado Rockie Jacket just by signing up.

If we spend $100 this will get to more people.

I have also visited Hootsuite to set up calendars and combine the sites. I assigned the restaurant a Hootsuite account which allows 3 free social media platforms

I also sent a post in google drive with keywords to see what hits we can get.Sullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-81092741725706314312019-05-15T22:15:00.004-07:002019-05-15T22:15:46.348-07:00

Week 15 - Part 1

I read the google analytics for a business page. I don't have a website so I could not practice this but I did read this and it was very interesting with all the analytics this does. I can not wait to build a website and view how many posts and how to grow business with these measures.

By analyizing who potential guests are and narrow down posts for potential guests will help increase exposure that interests those individuals.

I liked all my classmates facebook posts as myself, Susan Sullivan and commented on some posts!

WEEK 14 - Part One

I posted three posts and scheduled them and paid $1 a day for a few days, I then paid another one for a scheduled post for $1 for five days!

I choose a target ad for Sports people, women and men, age 35 to 65 years old and live a mile from the Aurora Mall. For a $1 a day said it would go to 165 to 600 people each day.

I added call to action, directions so guests would know where the shop is located. Since this is a brick and mortar store and we don't have a website, I felt directions was the call to action one to have. I also added like the page.

I am showing 3 ads with the following pictures of the sport jackets we offer:

* I targeted a Colorado jacket and targeted Moms Day to post on Wednesday afternoon to Sunday. with a tag to purchase for Mom

* I then targeted a Dodger Blue jacket since many people in Colorado are from Los Angeles and the Dodgers are playing the Rockies next week! This ad went out today with a boost so I can track it next week to see how many people were hit.

*Then I placed an ad with all the jackets and put this on business google to see if I can track where these posts go. I tried to do a boost and pay but I was having trouble getting this done.

I only showed jackets as that is all the store sells, so just showing the jackets was the best way to show them and use the demographics that would apply to particular team with funny posts!

Here are the posts:
Week 13 - Part 1

I started putting in NFL sports jackets and found some websites and some physical stores that I studied:

Fanatics.com/ncaa/Colorado -
This is what came up with searched key words. I then went to their website which is www.fanatics.com/ncaa/colorado
This was more of a website than a physical store. As soon as it came up, there was a large DISCOUNT SIGN and many pictures of apparel. Their prices are good, its a huge company, so our little store would have to compete with those that physically go in to look around and want it that day for say a gift or to give their money to the little guy.

I then found a store called Sportsfan in Denver Colorado. This had no website nor facebook page. Just on Bing showed addressed and hours so there is no advertising I could report on but it was a physical store and no web presence.

Next, during my search, says a company called Fanzz Sports Apparel. I clicked on their facebook and website and it took my to a new company called Lids which just bought this company. There was some bad reviews about customer service since they just got booked. Their posts are very professional with videos of young menu wearing the apparal. Nothing funny, just men showing them wearing the hats or shirts.

I kept using different words like physical store in Aurora Colorado for NFL jackets and the real yellow pages came up but nothing about our store. So this may be a social media site I will look into to add our store.

I found AJ Leathers & Sports Wear Inc by typing keyword NFL Jackets store in Aurora Colorado through facebook and this site came up. This showed posts of pictures but not a physical store. It had 86 likes but no where how to buy the jackets. Their advertising is terrible.

I put in keywords and NFL the official site came up which I clicked on this page. They have a few physical stores in big cities but not by our store in Aurora. As we know, the NFL has tons of money and spends a lot on advertising on their facebook page, Instagram, twitter, website, so this is something we wont be able to go against. They have call to action, where you click and it goes to the website to order the jacket.

What is effective, is key words. I need to figure out keywords that our site comes up and there are more social media sites I have not touched liked Yellow Pages.

This is so new to me and I am amazed what I learn every day.

Week 13 Part 2

I did some Facebook ads to see how analytics worked. Here are the charts that I printed, when I choose to do posts for a a few days at a $1 a post. I also, did the demographics of men from 18 to 64 that lived around Aurora Colorado. Again, since I only did a $1 I knew it was a limited view but I wanted to see how this worked. Here are the graphs and yes I think booster Sales option works much better than getting so many likes on my page. Facebook has different advertising prices and tools, I found demographics and just a picture with a funny saying worked best for our Store to get people to know there is this type of store in the Aurora Mall.

I would post every other week or just close to a holiday, or to a major sporting event. I also am going to work with the Mall website to do more social posts on that site to draw people into the store.

I went ahead and created a Google My Business location site so now potential customers can write reviews, and I can answer them as well as get directions and hours of our location. This is the site location for google my business:

https://business.google.com/dashboard/l/14775070158524850291?hl=en

I also went ahead and made a location for Yelp for Leather Direct Colorado and here is the link. This way I can also answer reviews and customers can see hours of operation and location and what we do.
https://www.yelp.com/biz/leather-direct-aurora-2

I also made an account for Bing, I just need to verify it when someone gets to the store tomorrow. The store is in Colorado so I have to wait to call and get someone to do the code for me.

Bing is great, as it shows at the top of search engines so this will be usefull tool as another social media site.

Week 12 - Part Two - Discussion

So I made a Yelp review and noticed there were reviews so I replied to those customers that wrote a review. I also added pictures. Yelp partners with other social media sites so this will allow those sites to be assessable since now we are part of Yelp.

Yelp is more for restaurants, hotels and services such as plumbing. But I can see it grow more for retail stores so I am interested in seeing how many hits we get of people viewing our retail store on Yelp.

I updated Google Map and Google Business and this will help give guests directions but also some other social media sites use google map and google business so now will be assessable to those sites as well.

Another social site is the Aurora mall since the retail store Leather Direct Colorado is in the Aurora Mall in Colorado. I send a new logo and pictures to the mall to post on their website so I am waiting for that. I really don't like their website but any new pictures and a promo we are running should do well on their social media site.

The other social media sites mentioned in the assignment would not work for this retail site. I don't think either videos will work too well for the retail site but I may try one.

I don't think Linkin or Tumbler will work either to grown our business but I am interested in it all!

I will keep looking to see what I can do to add more social sites.
Week 11 - Blog 1
<strike></strike>
There are certain email marketing letters I look forward in getting and there are some, I have to hit unsubscribe. The store that I am representing does not have an online marketing store so I would include in our newsletter to try to get them into the building. Since we gave no online store, I would send the newsletter out every month or every two weeks:

* I would show discounts of the month
* I would build up our eclub by offering a 15% discount on the first purchase to bring into the store.
* I would also include any events of star atlethes signing that customers would look forward to seeing and planning
* The store is in the Aurora Mall so I would put what is happening in the Mall that month so people would anticipate this as well.
*I would show new jackets and new clothes that came in
*I would highlight a sport player or team that we have a lot of jackets OR a team doing really well or player and talk about that we have those jackets.

WEEK 11 BLOG 2

I commented on the following team members Blogs which I really enjoyed reading.

Austin Poynter
Adriana Macias
Michelle Jordan
Ariana Felix

I would look forward to reading any of these newslettersSullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-26266092490031087702019-04-13T16:55:00.001-07:002019-04-13T21:09:40.341-07:00
Weeky 10 - Blogging for Business - First Post

Bogging for business is new to me. But after reading about blogging, I can see how this can help a service and business. I went ahead and made a business blog, here is the link:

<span style="background-color: transparent; color: #888888; cursor: default; display: inline; float: none; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; word-wrap: break-word;">https://leatherdirectcolorado.blogspot.com/2019/04/is-it-still-hip-to-wear-nfl-<strike></strike>
<strike></strike>

I added these blog icons to my pages to see how it would work. I think if the blog goes out, it may engage potential buyers in buying jackets. I can see how this would be good for professional services. It is a good tool with a creative mind to make people aware of the service or business by reading a blog.

Week 10 - Blogging for Business - Second Post

I posted two facebook posts and scheduled them AND linked to Instagram with my blog tag.

I liked all my classmates facebook pages, twitter and instagrams accounts. I added comments to their posts.

To stay organized on a blog, I would map out the month and blog same time each week. I would plan ahead of times topics in order to keep a good schedule. Link it to facebook and twitter.

I also created a google email account to match the organization and linked that on the blog since I am requesting answers to a question on my blog to engage readers.

These blogs will help the business grow if I can engage my audience and come up with some good articles pertaining to the merchandise I carry. Personal touch, engage audience and entertain the reader.

I comments on blogging with the following classmates:

Michelle Jordan
Austin Poynter
Adriana Macias
Michelle JordanSullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-61791559305680381582019-04-01T21:02:00.001-07:002019-04-01T21:02:40.345-07:00Week 8 - Post 2

I used sport search words to find organizations that related to my business, Leather Direct. So I put in team names and followed those sports teams. I also, put in the Aurora Town Mall where the retail shop is located. I found it very easy to find organizations to follow and I am following over 70 different sports organizations.

I created a tweat and I just put "Is the Team to Beat" and I put a picture of a Patriot Jacket and a Patriot Emoji and tweated. I also retweeted a tweat about Von Mill as stepping up to be the team captian for the Broncos this year.

I feel the right time to tweet is at 8pm when sports are on and people are watching sports and tweeting.

I created a list of Broncos followers and tweated to all those I am following a picture of a Bronco Jacket with a tweet saying "Whoose House, Flaco's House

So I know twitter is simple and less words to get the point across.

I have never used twitter before, so it was fun making a twitter account, and tweating and reteating sayings!!!

I am not sure how many people will see my tweats and purchase jackets but its going to be fun to see for social media. I could not find where to tweat and place times and days so it gets sent out then so I will rewatch the videos.

I am really enjoying this class..Sullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-47864064761172726752019-03-25T21:04:00.001-07:002019-03-27T18:40:41.381-07:00

Week 8 - Part 1
Facebook is the social media my business would use and then Instagram. I made both for the business. I tied Instagram into Facebook. I still have issues commenting on Facebook and Instagram with my business account as it goes back to my personal one. I would recommend not tying in business and personal as sometimes I am commenting but I am on my personal and not business one so it gets confusing. I created facebook and Instagram accounts

Pinterst would not work for my business, Leather Direct. As we sell jackets and I cant see how this would be a good avenue unless we took the jackets and laid them out and made something out of it.

YouTube - I don't think will work for my business unless I did a fashion show and video'd it or went to a sports game and showed people wearing our jackets at sporting events which may be a good special post.

Snapchat - I studied this and I don't think our customers are geared toward snap chat. This seems like a different customer base that would not check our postings on snapchat.

So Facebook and instgram and I posted our addresses to get to these pages for Leather Direct and I scheduled postings for both facebook and Instagram.

Week 8 - Part 2

First business, fanatics.com - this is a business that sells sports cloths, jackets, shirts, etc. Their website is very detailed and you can purchase on line. The business is on facebook, twitter, pin interest and you tube. I noticed on pin interest they lay out jackets and show people wearing them. On Twitter they send posts of current players and events to get those interested. They have 1,296 follwers abd are following 49.8 people. I like their twitter account, which is more pictures and a few words so its been doing what I have been doing and posting posts like March Madness and upcoming Spring Baseball. (After visiting their page, and not siging up for anything, I got a coupon for 30 percent off emailed to me)

Second business, Fanzz Sports Apparel - Colorado Mills. I checked this website and noticed they were on Instagram, facebook, twitter, pin interest, you tube and Blog. I checked out their blog and it was more pictures and not a blog on stories so I found this just a way to post pictures. I checked their instgram and they have 3,411 posts, 293 followers, 4,322 following. Their pictures were more professional and they had a sweepstakes which I liked. They seem to just post pictures and not writing anything on the posts so its just a picture so I don't find this helpful. I don't find any of the social network besides their website interesting.

Third business, Sports Fans in Colorado. I checked out their facebook page and I got a lot of ideas. It did not list how many follers on this page. I noticed they advertise signings by major starts to share with their followers. I loved this as then I could say, get your this player's jersey and go to the signing and then they would follow for more news like this. They also had a side bar of players on the Broncos, you could like which I thought was great, so we can could do that that we carry their jersey and maybe like your favorite player and get 10% off something like that! They also had good facebook reviews on top from customers which I thought was cool.

Fourth business is Town Center at Aurora. I did a different website as this website I the mall operation that the business is housed. I noticed it does have Instagram, facebook and twitter. It has 1,113 posts, 556 followers and 299 following. The website is very bland but so is this mall so it shows. There are no videos or pictures. Just wording. The special events are just typed no pictures. The instrgram photos and words are terrible so I would not follow this and I can see why there are no followers. Very poor grade for a mall website. No coupons, etc.

Fifth business is Crave the Auto. I decided to look at this website and wanted to link to it since it shows when autographing will happen. Then if I can link it and there is a signing, we can show when the signing is and try to get customers to purchase apparel. There are 21.5 K twitter following and 16.3 Instagram so this is a great site if I can see signings to like and link.

I scheduled my first one to go out 3/17 and I showed green jackets and posted "Happy St Patrick Day", do you feel green!

I scheduled my second post to go out on 3/20 as March Madness started 3/19 and I posted a picture of all NCAA Basketball jackets with a post saying "Are you Mad for March Madness!

I also had fun when I saw funny posts on the people that liked my business page, I would say some fun things. My niece had a picture showing her eating a huge pretzel as she is in Germany and I said "Do you want a jacket with that"

I went and liked all my classmates facebook pages, however, I am not sure if it can be seen by Leather Direct, my facebook page or from my personal facebook page Susan Sullivan. I tried to change each time the profile but not sure if it took.

I liked 7 businesses related to my business facebook page and I hope it was liked by my company leather direct and not liked by my personal page.

I liked:

Denver Broncos - because Leather Direct is a Leather sports jackets so felt this was a good fit for those looking at that facebook page.

The target audience right now is 55 years and older, male, single, retired, educated, Caucasian. Coco's has 38 locations in California and Arizona so many of the restaurants have different guests to focus on. Some locations are in tourists areas like Anaheim and Brea so they focus on the traveler. Some Coco's are in destination spots like in Monterey so they focus on the weekend couple. Some Coco's are in neighborhoods so they focus on the elderly guest who frequents daily and it's his or her second home.

Need to study industry and how guests see the Coco's nameSullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-6599187697694104202019-02-23T19:10:00.000-08:002019-02-23T19:10:18.360-08:00Week 5 - Post 1
Set Two - Subway and Hungry Bear

The difference in each target market is that Subway is aiming for the young adult and the Hungry Bear is aiming for older adults. As the subway website has a lot of information, graphics that move (websliders). Lots of information on the web page. The Hungry Bear has a simple for ma, the top part where you click on to get information but not live graphics or pictures of food. Simple format.

Subway target market, is aiming for repeat guests since they change their websliders for promos. They also offer delivery and order online, so the website can be used every day. The website is aiming at the consumer who is worried about the planet so they have a section on what Subway is doing for the environment.

Hungry Bear aims for a person who visits the site once. To read the menu and not online orders or delivery. It's a simple design. When I would hit the icons on top, they kept moving. Older adults will like this simple format if they just want to know the menu items and prices for the menu and not much else.

The two differences in these websites is that one is a national chain and you can see they spent a lot of money in maintaining the website. The Hungry Bear spent the bare (pun) minimum on their website. It's a simple format, they don't have to update very much, except for a promotion that they just list and don't show pictures. They have some bear pictures but those are more like logos than actual pics of food.

There is not much of a cross over except for a person who is hungry and is just viewing menus and prices. The subway viewer is:
Young Adult under age 30
Educated
Different ethnicities
Both Genders
Income -any income

Hungry Bear
Older Adult - over 55 years old
Educated
Both genders
Income Medium

My conclusion is the Subway wants guests to view their website every day so they post pictures or what they are doing in the community. The Hungry Bear only wants those checking the website for job or to see what is currently on their menu but not to keep coming back. The tone is very simple format for the Hungry Bear.Sullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-32322813246567356672019-02-21T19:59:00.002-08:002019-02-21T19:59:22.118-08:00Sullivan1021http://www.blogger.com/profile/01814605309898335326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7842419249333974356.post-43309912589371802892019-02-21T19:59:00.000-08:002019-02-21T19:59:08.059-08:00Blog Week 4, Part Two - Tw0 websites to write about

First website
http://Starbucks.com

This is my favorite website. as well as I love the product. The reason their website is successful is their logo is the opening of their website and its the icon when I saved it to my mobile so Starbucks is always connected to me. They have everything on this website. You can order your menu item on line and not wait, they have contests on line, you can order gift cards, you can leave reviews, you can play games, you can find locations and music.

I love their design. the font is large and there is not so much color to take away anything. The logo appears every where. The colors are their restaurants colors. Very easy menu to follow and you never get stuck in one site.

I go to this website every day. First to order a treat/drink every day. Second, to see if they have any discounts for the day or new products. Every day, they emai to my inbox at Starbucks. So, it doesn't bog down my email address with promos, if I want to see the latest then I go to my inbox at Starbucks and read about the new offers. It's very easy to connect and the platform is easy to follow.

Everything can always be approved. Sometimes when ordering, it does not show me the closest Starbucks so I end up ordering from one a few miles away even thou I am right in front of the Starbucks. Also, the contests, you have to go to a different website, so you sign in there as well.

Second website
http://Cocosbakery.com

This is the website from my work so I choose this one since I am frequently on this website. This website is effective if like looking at web sliders and seeing the current promotions or ordering food online. The logo is big and bold and the pictures of the food are vibrant.

The web sliders are big and bold and has good timing to move different ones so a guests sees the current promos being offered. There are large icons like order food, order gift cards, leave feedback, menu that is easy to follow.

I come again because its my work. Others would come to see the current promotions and to order food or gift cards or leave feedback. But guests would not come daily to see the website unless its just to give a take out order on line. There is a desk top and mobile site for ordering.

Lots of improvement is needed. The location map is not that good, and you put in zip codes of locations and it does not find them. The food online, is not that pretty and not all pictures are there of the food. The feedback icon is very small so sometimes guests miss it and not know where to leave comments. There is no contest on line nor music or animation to get you excited about this website.

Identify 3 potential problems with these websites:

Website #1:artcenter.org

I really enjoyed this website. It has great pictures and it's broken in many parts. I see the following improvements:

* Adding music to each act so if a person clicks on the website and the artist, they could listen to their music.
* The logo should be on each page and larger font. It does have a lot going on, maybe too much going on, so you can get lost in the website.
* I could not find the address to the center and I clicked on a few links until I finally found it. This should be easier to find so people don't get frustrated.

Website #2 www.apple.com

I checked this website this is how I would improve this website:

* The website is too dark. It needs more light, to make it more appealing. Maybe some music to give it a more exciting look.
* Could not find a phone number. I clicked on many links, even help link but I could not find the phone number. There is a chat available during certain hours but no phone number to call.
* It's too busy website. Too many links and too much going on, so I just wanted to leave the website. It's not designed very well and not appealing.

Choose 2 websites and identify what they have done right and how the branding impacted the website: https://www.pennyjuice.com/

I liked this website as it flows. The font is big and bold. There are few pictures but they are big and the script is the same size. I enjoy the colorful pictures. The phone number is listed and address. Branding is good and it gets to the point of what this website is about. Very good branding and I really enjoyed it.

https://www.headhunterhairstyling.com/
I liked this website as it has a video which I enjoyed and the website is not too busy like some of the other websites. The branding is very good and it's easy to follow and find information. I really do like videos on website and this one is quick and repeats itself. The branding was very good as well.
There are no links on their website so I then went to their facebook page. I noticed that the company were responding to comments made on facebook. Usually replies were every 3 days and not on weekends or at night. This company needs to post their social media sites on their website to help guests leave comments. They could use social media better as I see their local promotions on facebook but its something that is on their website so you can see it there.

Dennys Restaurants
https://Dennys.com
I went to their site and I noticed they have every social media site you can think of to click on to comment on visits and see promotions. So I clicked on:
http://www.facebook.com/Dennys
This site is great, they have fun sayings about their food. People are commenting and there is somebody answering the comments. They have a rating that says 4.8 out of 5 in responses. So it looks like they have this staffed at most times and someone is there to comment on guest comments. Looks like they post pictures every day and list promotions but different than their website. They do a great job on social media sites.

IHOP
https://IHOP
I went to this site and noticed they have al ot of social media sites to click on to comment so I clicked on:
http://www.facebook.com/IHOP
This site is not kept updated. I didn't see any written replies on any guest complaint omments. I did see some one who click like on compliments. Many disgruntled guests and not replies back. Looks like no one is manning this site. Current promotions are displayed, the same as on the facebook page.

Norms
https://Norms
I went to this site and noticed they have a lot of icons to choose from for social media, so I choose
https//www.facebook/Normsrestaurants

I reviewed this site and it looks like they have someone monitoring this website at all times. Looks like a response is given the next day to a good or bad complaint. There are fun contests on line that is not on their home webpage. I liked reading the comments and the replies which look to be different on each response. Very good social media on this website. They really are up to date on their social media and its different.

https://Blackbeardiner.com
I went to this site and noticed all the icons on this website which I clicked on and went to
http://www.facebook.com/BlackbeearDiner
This is a poor facebook site as it does not look like any one answers any of the guests leaving comments. Some of the comments are just asking for hours, certain information and nothing is answered. The promotions are loaded on the site but its the same information on the website. So this site could use a person designed to update it or steer guests another way to leave comments.

After investigating all these social media sites, I learned some are better than others. I think facebook and the business website should be different. I think those posting on facebook should be answered within a day or given an email or phone number to contact if they want a response back than no answers. Some of these do a great job and some do a terrible job. Looks like some sites really care about customer feedback and some sites really don't care and it shows.
As we know, some people who leave issues on social media is leaving one side of the story. I would say "thank you for letting us know of your unsatisfactory visit and management will be investigating and resolving any issues. We would like to communicate with you, if you can email us at ???? and reference this post so we may communicate with you. Thank you for helping us improve our operations.
